The Roxborough Area Historical Society Wants You! Your mission: To help dig up “history in our own backyard.”
Roxborough residents Char Nauman and Flo Tonelli, who serve as president and vice president, respectively, say the historical society was established in 2007 by Roxborough Park resident Susie Trumble to bring together people who are interested in history, especially local history, but they insist “you do not need to be a history buff” to join the group.
Journey of A Lifetime, The Great Wall of China at Mutianyu
Each picture has a story. It could be one that was planned or you may have had something, just catch your eye. In the case of ‘Journey of A Lifetime,” this was a personally planned photo that not only impacted me from a physical standpoint but also stirred my soul and gave me a memory that I will always cherish.

Health Tip: Self-Care is NOT Selfishness
We’ve all been there, putting other people’s needs before our own, and feeling burnt out, depleted, and ready to throw in the towel. Keep a Full Head of Hair, No Surgery Needed!

Now, stem cell and PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy offer a great option to both men and women to restore their scalp to its youthful state with a full head of hair.
Maynie’s “Kick-Ass” Margarita
How do you like your margarita, sir? Shaken and on The ROX?
That was the question asked when my brother and I were hanging out at his place on a balmy Sunday evening in beautiful northeastern Tennessee. After discussing business, we like to just kick back and try our hand at perhaps a new cocktail, wine, scotch, or a cooking dish and just create and reinvent.
